Description
The U.S. Navy is soliciting the manufacture of SPALT PLATE parts meeting the material and physical requirements of drawing 7201078 and part number 7201078-003. The solicitation identifies CAGE code 53711 and states that the item is a commercial brand-name description; alternate items may be proposed only with a complete technical description for government review. The contractor is responsible for inspection and quality compliance, with government source inspection required. Items must be marked in accordance with applicable military standards and preserved, packaged, packed, and marked in accordance with the contract schedule and MIL-STD-2073. Engineering change proposals, deviations, and waivers must follow MIL-STD-973 procedures.
