Description
Cornell University is soliciting bids from one general contractor for the complete Carl A. Kroch Library storm drain repair project. The scope includes all labor, services, materials, supplies, construction activities, and related work required by the drawings, specifications, general conditions, and supplemental requirements. Bidders must submit a base bid, proposed project team and resumes, project schedule, substitutions, and any required unit prices and alternate proposals through Cornell’s electronic project management Bid Portal. A 10% bid bond is required at submission. The successful bidder must provide 100% performance and labor and material payment bonds before on-site construction begins. Work must start within seven calendar days after written authorization to proceed and reach substantial completion by July 16, 2027. The solicitation also requires listing proposed subcontractors, material suppliers, and manufacturers for principal trades, with subcontractors and suppliers subject to owner and architect approval.
