Description
The City and Borough of Juneau is soliciting bids to remove and replace the existing IRMA roof assembly on the Juneau International Airport Air Traffic Control Tower. Base-bid work includes enclosing the rotating beacon support structure, modifying the roof access hatch and curb assembly, and performing electrical work needed to facilitate the roof replacement. Bid Additive No. 1 covers removal and replacement of the external rotating beacon and two pairs of obstruction lights. A bid bond is required, attendance at the mandatory pre-bid conference is required, and bidders must acknowledge Addendum 1 in their submitted bid. The engineer’s estimate is $350,000–$450,000.
