Description
The City and Borough of Juneau is requesting proposals from qualified consultants to provide professional engineering services for the Upper Creek Street Waterline Replacement project. The scope includes research, surveying, engineering design, stakeholder and neighborhood outreach, and coordination. The selected consultant must prepare complete bid-ready construction drawings, specifications, a bid schedule, and an engineer’s estimate, including critical material lead times, for reconstruction during the 2027 construction season. Final bid-ready documents are due by January 20, 2027. The contract materials state that services begin after contract execution and issuance of a notice to proceed and purchase order, and that the contract expires December 31, 2027, unless amended in writing. Required insurance includes commercial general liability, professional liability, workers’ compensation, and comprehensive automobile liability coverage.
