Description
Cobb County Water System is soliciting bids for a two-year annual contract to clean and repair manholes, sewer lines, drains, pipelines, and other septic-system failures in wastewater collection systems, with three optional one-year renewals for a maximum term of five years. Services include debris removal, snaking and cabling, jetting, pump-truck and backhoe services, liquid-waste disposal, parts, and emergency response. The contractor must provide 24-hour emergency service seven days per week, respond by telephone within 30 minutes, arrive on site within two hours of the initial call, and maintain sufficient crews, equipment, tools, materials, and safety measures. Bidders must demonstrate at least five years of relevant experience, provide three similar project references, and submit a valid Georgia Department of Public Health Environmental Health Section certificate for certified septic tank pumping. The solicitation also requires a completed and notarized Contractor Affidavit and Agreement, a completed Agency References form, and pricing for regular, overtime, weekend, and parts-markup services. Insurance requirements include commercial general liability, automobile liability, workers’ compensation, employer’s liability, and other conditional coverages specified in the solicitation.
