Description
Cobb County Department of Transportation is soliciting qualified contractors for multiple countywide, as-needed work categories under an indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity unit-price contract. Bidders may submit prices for one or more groups, including grading, drainage and paving; guardrail; grassing and landscaping; pavement marking; traffic signals; streetlights; renovating existing pipe; inclement-weather work; tree and limb removal; FEMA storm-debris removal; road maintenance; and FEMA equipment. The specifications include roadway and sidewalk maintenance, traffic control, tree trimming and removal, streetlight repair and electrical-system work, water and sewer construction, cured-in-place pipe lining and cementitious pipe rehabilitation, storm-debris removal, and equipment furnished with operators. The County does not guarantee any minimum quantity of work or compensation. The basic contract term is one year with one one-year option, for a maximum duration of three years. Work will be authorized through future projects and work orders. Bidders must submit electronic unit prices through Bid Express, complete the Contractor Affidavit and Agreement, and satisfy applicable licensing, insurance, bonding, traffic-control, utility-prequalification, and subcontractor-compliance requirements. A 5% bid bond is required with future invitations to bid; performance and labor-and-material payment bonds are required for awarded work exceeding $25,000.
