Description
The U.S. Department of Agriculture's Agricultural Research Service is seeking a contractor to provide groundskeeping, weed control, and indoor pest mitigation services at its Research Development Center. The scope includes routine removal of debris and weeds from drives, parking areas, sidewalks, curbs, gutters, fencelines, and mulched areas; waste disposal; quarterly herbicide applications; pest inspection, monitoring, and mitigation; and annual replenishment of landscape-bed mulch to a minimum uniform depth of two inches. The contractor must furnish all labor, tools, materials, transportation, and equipment, transport machinery and supplies to and from the facility daily, submit product and Safety Data Sheets for chemical applications, provide a yearly work schedule, and designate a contract manager and alternate reachable after normal work hours. The anticipated contract is firm-fixed-price with one base year and four option years. Quotations must include vendor details, a detailed technical approach, all-inclusive pricing for the base and option periods, an estimated lead time or start date, and a quote validity period of at least 60 days.
