Description
Milwaukee County Behavioral Health Services is seeking expressions of interest from community-based organizations to partner in providing mobile medication-assisted treatment (MAT) for people with opioid use disorder. The selected organization would use the County's specially outfitted mobile clinic, which supports secure medication storage and dispensing, basic clinical assessments, and confidential patient care. The provider is responsible for maintenance, insurance, fuel, and secure storage of the van, which is available at no charge. The provider must work with the County to obtain applicable Drug Enforcement Administration, Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration, and Wisconsin Department of Health Services certifications. Services may include medication assessment and dispensing, counseling, peer support, telehealth psychiatric consultation, harm-reduction education, outreach, intake, case management, and care coordination. Respondents must submit the listed response materials, including an expression-of-interest questionnaire, staffing plan, agency and site information, applicable licenses and certifications, disclosures, and a W-9. Responses are submitted through the procurement portal; the County may invite qualified applicants to a subsequent RFP.
