Description
The Milwaukee Metropolitan Sewerage District is soliciting bids for janitorial services at its Headquarters and Laboratory Buildings, including the connected skywalk. The contractor must provide three employees Monday through Friday, generally from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., to clean bathrooms, common areas, kitchens, lunchrooms, conference rooms, lobbies, elevators, hallways, stairwells, laboratory entrances, and other specified spaces. Daily and weekly cleaning tasks include disinfecting surfaces, replenishing bathroom products, removing trash, vacuuming and mopping floors, cleaning fixtures and appliances, and dusting and wiping common areas. The contract period is January 1, 2027, through December 31, 2029. The District will provide janitorial supplies, equipment, and bathroom supplies. Bidders must submit the completed bid worksheet, bid security, sworn statement, required Attachments B through H, and bidder qualifications, including at least three current janitorial-services references and a description of employee selection, training, and qualifications. A 20% Small Business Enterprise participation goal applies, and the bid security must be at least 5% of the total bid.
