Description
The City of Rogers is seeking a qualified consulting firm for professional planning, engineering, construction-document-level design, and construction engineering and inspection services for three temporary roadway safety demonstration projects. The projects include roadway and intersection treatments, trail-crossing improvements, signage, striping, bolt-down elements, rectangular rapid-flashing beacons, signalization, traffic calming, and school-zone safety improvements across specified corridors and six trail-crossing locations. The selected firm will provide services across the project lifecycle, including construction engineering and inspection, pre- and post-installation data collection, performance metrics, lessons learned, a final evaluation report, and a Rogers-specific traffic-calming toolkit for submission to the U.S. Department of Transportation. The work is federally funded and must address applicable federal requirements, including Build America, Buy America compliance and telecommunications and video-surveillance prohibitions. The City intends to award one contract to the highest-ranked firm, and firms must demonstrate relevant qualifications, staffing, similar-project experience, and past performance.
