Description

The City of Rogers is requesting letters of interest from qualified consulting firms for professional planning, engineering, and related services for a 6.7-mile US-71B corridor study and feasibility studies for grade-separated Railyard Loop Trail undercrossings at US-71B/W. Price Lane and US-71B/S. 28th Street. The corridor study will assess safety, mobility, and access management; develop concept designs; address roadway ownership and regional coordination; and support future Bus Rapid Transit planning. The trail studies will evaluate utilities, drainage, right-of-way, roadway geometry, safety, conceptual engineering, and planning-level costs, with findings incorporated into the corridor study final report. The procurement follows federal engineering and design-related services requirements and is funded through the Safe Streets and Roads for All grant program. Submittals will be evaluated on staffing, reputation and civil-rights responsiveness, similar-project experience, and past performance. Shortlisted firms will subsequently receive a scope of work and be asked to submit detailed proposals.
