Description
The New York State Department of Financial Services is soliciting proposals for a five-year contract to design, supply, install, integrate, test, maintain, and support a modern, platform-agnostic audio-visual system for a conference room. The scope includes commercial-grade displays, PTZ cameras, ceiling and wireless microphones, distributed speakers, signal routing and switching, centralized room controls, network integration, cabling, racks, mounting, labeling, removal of existing equipment, concealed wiring, redundancy/failover, and compatibility with Microsoft Teams, Zoom, and WebEx. The system must support local and remote participation, content sharing, BYOD connectivity, future expansion, and secure remote assistance or monitoring. The contractor must provide design drawings, a final project plan, a fully installed and operational system, testing reports, as-built documentation, programming code, manuals, training of up to 12 hours, warranty support, and subsequent maintenance and service-level support. The solicitation requires at least five years of directly relevant audio-visual design, installation, and maintenance experience. Proposals must include separate technical, cost, and administrative submissions; the technical proposal is limited to 25 pages excluding specified materials, and the cost proposal must use the provided cost form. A 30% MWBE participation goal applies, divided into 15% MBE and 15% WBE goals.
