The New York State Institute for Basic Research in Developmental Disabilities is seeking a contractor to provide compressed gases, specialty gas mixtures, liquid nitrogen, cylinders and cryogenic containers, and related rental or lease services. Required products include acetylene, carbon dioxide, oxygen, nitrogen, helium, argon, zero air, hydrogen, biological or specialty atmospheric mixtures, and industrial liquid nitrogen, with specified purity, pressure, container size, and CGA connection requirements. The scope includes scheduled and as-needed delivery, refill and exchange, pickup of empty containers, cylinder inventory tracking and reconciliation, labeling, delivery documentation, customer and technical support, and continuity-of-supply capabilities. Installation, setup, training, warranty and service-plan documentation, urgent delivery capability, and disclosure of all product, rental, delivery, hazardous-material, environmental, fuel, and service charges are also requested. The solicitation identifies an approximate current inventory of 82 cylinders and cryogenic containers, but actual quantities and consumption are not guaranteed and will vary with operational needs.
