Description
The U.S. Navy is seeking a contractor to overhaul, upgrade, repair, test, inspect, and return 40 compressed gas cylinders to a Ready-for-Issue condition. The work includes inspection, component repair and replacement, reassembly, testing, required parts and materials, process-control documentation, and packaging in accordance with the applicable drawings, repair manuals, and specifications. The contractor must perform the repairs at the facility identified in its proposal and provide the necessary labor, equipment, tooling, materials, and enclosed storage. The solicitation specifies a required repair turnaround time of 70 days after receipt, an induction expiration date of 365 days after contract award, and compliance with applicable quality, calibration, configuration-management, marking, and packaging requirements. The contractor must maintain an ISO 9001, SAE AS9100, or acceptable equivalent quality system and identify the repair source and actual work location.
