The Texas Health and Human Services Commission is soliciting competitive bids to establish contract(s) for concrete services at Rio Grande State Center. The work consists of removing and replacing damaged sidewalks, including sawcutting and demolishing existing concrete, hauling and disposing of debris, grading and compacting the subgrade, installing aggregate base material where needed, setting forms, placing #3 rebar at 16-inch centers, pouring 3,000-PSI concrete at a uniform 4- to 6-inch thickness, applying a broom finish and curing compound, installing control and expansion joints, backfilling edges, and cleaning the work area. The identified work includes sidewalk sections at Buildings 503, 505, and 510 and must comply with ADA requirements and applicable municipal codes. The contractor must furnish all labor, equipment, materials, tools, transportation, dumpsters, and supplies. Services are generally performed Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with response requirements of four hours for service calls and one hour for approved emergency requests. Bidders must have at least five years of relevant experience, assigned personnel must have at least five years of relevant experience, and the response must include at least three verifiable references for similar contracts completed within the last five years. A mandatory in-person site visit is required, and the solicitation requires completion of the pricing sheet and solicitation affirmations, with additional qualification and financial-capability information as applicable.
