Description
The Bureau of Indian Education is seeking a contractor to provide 220 new mattresses—220 twin-size mattresses, including 8 extra-large mattresses—and install them in residential halls at Haskell Indian Nations University. Mattresses must meet or exceed the specified American Bedding equivalent, including 38-by-75-by-9-inch twin dimensions, 10-ounce vinyl fabric, navy color, and compliance with 16 CFR 1633 fire specifications. The contractor must provide all labor, materials, equipment, transportation, and supervision; remove and dispose of the existing mattresses and packaging; and repair or replace any products or building components damaged during installation. The requirement is set aside 100% for Indian Small Business Economic Enterprises. Quotes will be evaluated using a lowest-price technically acceptable approach for a firm-fixed-price purchase order, and the response must include mattress technical specifications, pricing, Attachments 2 and 3, and any available past-performance information.
