Submission Instructions
Description
The City of Lawrence is soliciting bids for street maintenance and related improvements on Lawrence Avenue, Ranger Drive, and, as an additive alternate, Longhorn Drive. The work includes approximately 26,869 square yards of milling, 4,582 tons of asphalt surfacing, concrete pavement overlay and replacement, sidewalk and sidewalk-ramp construction, concrete curb and gutter, pavement markings, traffic control, seeding, utility and drainage adjustments, and associated testing and cleanup. Bidders must submit the completed Proposal section, applicable addenda acknowledgments, and an electronic bid bond. The project requires a 5% bid bond, performance and statutory bonds after award, specified insurance coverage, traffic-control and erosion-control measures, coordination with utilities and adjacent properties, and completion by July 16, 2027. Bids must be submitted electronically through the City's procurement portal by the stated deadline.
