Description
The City of San Luis is soliciting bids for construction of an electrical upgrade at Well Site #3. The work includes replacing existing electrical service equipment; upgrading well-pump motor controls and variable-frequency drives; modifying motor-control equipment and booster-pump controls; installing site lighting, conduit, conductors, grounding, controls, and connections; and providing all labor, materials, equipment, testing, startup, and incidentals needed for a complete, operational electrical system. The proposal must include pricing for electrical service equipment, well-pump motor and VFD upgrades, booster-pump controls, site-lighting and electrical improvements, and testing and startup. The project requires an Arizona Class A contractor's license. A 10% bid security is required, and the successful contractor must provide 100% performance and payment bonds and required insurance. Final completion is required within 365 calendar days after the Notice to Proceed.
