Description
This solicitation is for the maintenance and repair of radial gates at the Thermalito Power Canal Headworks, located in Butte County, California. The work includes fabricating and installing stainless steel brackets A and B, filling an existing gap above bay 3 breastwall with non-shrink grout, repairing concrete spalling at the existing bay 1 abutment wall, and repairing concrete cracking at the Bay 3 breast wall. The estimated cost for this project ranges between $215,000 and $250,000. Prospective bidders are required to register by emailing DOE_SPECS@WATER.CA.GOV. An inspection trip for prospective bidders will be conducted at the worksite on Wednesday, June 24, 2026, at 10:00 A.M. at the Thompson Flat Cemetery Road driveway. All attendees are required to provide their own Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), including hard hats, safety vests, and work boots. Safety glasses and hearing protection are optional. Bidders must be licensed with classification A. Prequalification by the Department is required, and bidders must submit a safety prequalification questionnaire at least 5 days before bid opening.
