Reverse Industry Day: Emerging Acquisition Strategies for Military Construction and Civil Works Projects

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Sacramento District (SPK), invites industry partners to participate in a Reverse Industry Day focused on emerging acquisition strategies and project delivery methods. This event aims to foster open dialogue between industry and USACE regarding innovative approaches to design and construction procurement, including Progressive Design-Build (PDB), Design-Build to Budget (DB2B), Integrated Design and Construction (IDAC), and Other Transaction Authorities (OTA). Industry partners are invited to share real-world experiences, lessons learned, and recommendations on solicitation structures, evaluation criteria, partnering practices, and contract administration. Selected industry partners may be invited to present a 10-minute case study with a 10-minute Q&A session. The event will take place on Tuesday, July 14, 2026, from 1:00 PM to 3:30 PM Pacific Time at the Hyatt Regency Sacramento, 1209 L Street, Sacramento, CA 95814. Attendance is limited to one to two representatives per company, with a maximum of ninety individuals due to venue capacity. Participation will be in-person only. Registration is open until Friday, July 10, 2026, or until event capacity is reached, via the provided link.
