Description
The Bureau of Indian Affairs (BIA) Mescalero Agency requires the demolition and installation of an ADA-compliant handicap ramp at Building 95, located at 57 Chatto Drive, Mescalero, New Mexico. The existing staircase structure will be removed and disposed of, and a new concrete ramp with handrails, meeting OSHA and ADA standards, will be constructed. This ramp will be attached to the existing entry corridor of Building 95 (east entrance) and will include an adjacent staircase with handrails for optional access. Additionally, the contractor must relocate the water shut-off valve to ensure future accessibility. The project also requires the contractor to provide a quality control plan and final as-built documentation. The period of performance is 30 days after contract award.
