Description
The Nez Perce Tribe Plant Maintenance Program is seeking an architect to prepare design documents for remodeling the front entry and interior stairwell of an existing former church building being converted to tribal government office space. The scope includes deconstructing the existing steeple and bell tower, removing the historic bell, developing remodeled roofing plans, designing entry steps and an ADA ramp, and reconstructing or reinforcing the interior stairwell. Required deliverables include schematic and design drawings; certified construction documents consisting of plans, sections, elevations, specifications, and cost estimates; demolition sequence plans and a cost estimate for the steeple and bell-tower entry; draft documents for review; and final 100% design documents certified by the architect. The architect must provide an initial meeting, a final draft meeting, project communication, a detailed project timeline, and a proposal of no more than 10 pages. Proposals must include qualifications and key staff, client references, project approach, budget breakdown, acceptance of a contract, TERO certification status, Idaho licensing and authorization, and subcontractor details if applicable. Services are expected to last approximately five weeks after contract execution and notice to proceed.
