Description
The State of California is soliciting sealed bids for Contract 26-334792, Project 14109, to augment electrical service capacity at Napa State Hospital. The work includes demolition, excavation, trenching, conduit, raceway, wiring, cable, transformers, panelboards, switchgear, equipment pads, fencing, concrete, asphalt paving, generator coordination with PG&E, and related work. The project also requires temporary power, testing, commissioning, and compliance with applicable health, safety, labor, security, and environmental requirements. A California Class A contractor license is required. The estimated project cost is $10,144,400, with a 732-calendar-day term. Payment and performance bonds, each equal to 100 percent of the contract price, are required, as is bidder’s security of at least 10 percent of the bid. The project includes Disabled Veteran Business Enterprise participation requirements and applies a DVBE incentive program. Attendance at the September 30, 2026 mandatory prebid site inspection was required for bid eligibility. Construction personnel must undergo State Department of Justice-level criminal-history screening before working at the hospital.
