Description
The British Columbia Institute of Technology is establishing a roster of up to three qualified suppliers to provide bulk, cylinder, specialty, laboratory, welding, calibration, and other compressed gases, along with related accessories, delivery, storage-system support, inventory management, reporting, emergency response, and account-management services. Deliveries and services will support BCIT's instructional, research, operational, maintenance, and trades-training activities across multiple campuses and facilities. The scope includes bulk and microbulk storage systems, cylinders, regulators, manifolds, flowmeters, cylinder-handling equipment, telemetry, replenishment, inspections, maintenance, technical support, and emergency deliveries. Respondents must demonstrate authorization to distribute, transport, and supply compressed and liquefied gases in British Columbia, at least five years of relevant experience, three references, and the ability to provide the requested services and products. Responses are evaluated on company background and experience, proposed services and approach, and pricing. The roster will remain in place for three years with two optional one-year extensions, but BCIT guarantees no specific volume of work.
