Description
The Borough of Allentown is seeking bids for chemical purchases supporting its wastewater treatment plant and water treatment plant. The listed chemicals include DelPAC 2020, sodium hypochlorite, calcium hydroxide (hydrated lime), hydrofluorosilicic acid, Magnafloc LT20, sodium bisulfite, and sodium aluminate solution. Bids must use the provided standard proposal forms and comply with the bidding specifications and applicable New Jersey public-contract, prevailing-wage, affirmative-action, and business-registration requirements. Each bid must include a Business Registration Certificate, Non-Collusion Affidavit, and a bid bond or certified check for at least 10% of the bid amount, capped at $20,000 and not less than $500. The selected contractor must retain contract-related records for five years after final payment.
