Description
The City of Hammond Redevelopment Commission is offering two real estate redevelopment parcels for sale: 5265 Hohman Avenue, with a minimum sales price of $243,000, and 219 Russell Street, with a minimum sales price of $223,000. Responding parties may submit an offer for either or both parcels. Each proposal must include information about proposed improvements, site ingress and egress, applicable traffic flow, development and site plans, completion scheduling, relevant redevelopment experience, financial resources, and the bidder’s ability to complete the project. A cashier’s or certified check payable to the City of Hammond equal to 5% of the bid amount is required, along with five complete copies of the proposal. The successful bidder must complete the acquisition within 90 days after award, unless otherwise agreed, and execute a binding purchase agreement with the Redevelopment Commission.
