Description
School City of Hammond seeks symmetrical Internet access and data transmission services at 5 Gbps, scalable to 10 Gbps, with guaranteed throughput to the district's head-end. The service must include a /26 IPv4 address block, laddered pricing in 1 Gbps increments, and any provider-owned equipment needed for the handoff. Respondents should describe the service pathway, handoff configuration, construction or installation requirements, and a timeline supporting service delivery beginning July 1, 2027. Proposals must include complete recurring and nonrecurring pricing, separate eligible and ineligible costs, a proposed Service Level Agreement with 99.99% network availability efforts, latency, jitter, packet-loss, 24x7x365 trouble reporting, two-hour diagnosis, four-hour temporary or permanent repair, service reporting, and chronic-outage remedies. Additional resiliency or DDoS protection may be proposed separately. The response must also include three similar-service references, the provider's E-Rate SPIN number, and a ready-to-execute contract incorporating E-Rate contingencies. The procurement seeks a three-year contract with voluntary extensions and is contingent on E-Rate funding.
