Description
The City of Bellevue Fire Department is soliciting a contractor to inspect and test its fire hose, hose nozzles, and hose appliances annually in accordance with current National Fire Protection Association standards and Washington Administrative Code 296-305-06003. The scope includes physical inspection, tagging equipment that fails inspection or pressure testing, hydrostatic testing of hose at pressures up to 500 psi, and testing of nozzles and appliances at pressures up to 300 psi. The estimated inventory includes approximately 1,501 hose sections, 176 hose nozzles, and 252 hose appliances, subject to change. The contractor must provide qualified technicians, hydrostatic testing equipment, barcode or equivalent digital tracking, and testing reports and certifications. Deliverables include completion certificates, pass/fail inventory records with test dates and failure reasons, summary reports, and an example of a compliant final report. Proposals must address qualifications, equipment, tracking technology, Excel reporting capability, 2027 testing availability, pricing, references, key-personnel resumes, and the required signed forms and certifications. The contract term is five years, with 2027 testing scheduled for June 7–11 and June 14–18, 2027.
