Description
Washington County Commissioners is requesting bids under a unified contract for demolition of the existing 4-H building and construction of a new 125-by-70-foot, 16-foot-eave-height pre-engineered steel 4-H community building at the Washington County Fairgrounds. The facility will include space for the Washington County Extension Service office, an exhibit hall, two large storage rooms, two conference rooms, a kitchen, two shower rooms, and restrooms. The scope includes all local permits, demolition, site work, utilities, and construction of the new building. Substantial completion is required by June 7, 2027, with remaining work to be completed within 90 days after June 22, 2027. Bids must include a 5% bid guarantee and be submitted on Indiana State Board of Accounts Form No. 96, Revised 1987, with a completed and sworn Non-Collusion Affidavit. The successful contractor must provide performance and labor-and-material payment bonds equal to 125% of the contract at the time of written notice to proceed.
