Description
The Northeast Alabama Purchasing Association is soliciting bids for a uniform rental program for its participating governmental members. The contractor must initially furnish 11 suits of clothing per user, exchange five suits weekly for cleaning, provide work shirts in the user's choice of 100% cotton or cotton-polyester blend, and include pickup and delivery at user-selected sites. Uniforms must be new and unused at contract inception, ready to wear, professionally constructed, and replaced with new clothing on a three-year interval. Pricing must include transportation, handling, service charges, alterations, size changes, restocking fees, upgrades, and related costs. The vendor must repair or replace uniforms as directed by the applicable member supervisor, submit samples of all bid items, and identify any exceptions on the bid sheet. Participating members may terminate the contract with 30 days' written notice.
