Description
The City of Gadsden is soliciting sealed proposals for the Gadsden Municipal Complex Demolition Project, Bid Request No. 3652. Specifications and contract documents are available electronically at no cost to registered bidders upon request. Bidders must register with the City of Gadsden Engineering Department, hold the applicable Alabama general contractor license, and include a current license number with the bid. A cashier’s check drawn on an Alabama bank or a bid bond is required in an amount equal to the lesser of 5% of the bid or $10,000. The successful bidder must provide performance and payment bonding and evidence of insurance after award. Bidders must also comply with Alabama public works law, federal immigration requirements, nondiscrimination requirements, and accessibility requirements.
