Description
Albertville City School System is soliciting sealed proposals from general contractors for construction of a new bus shop. The project is to be bid excluding taxes, with completion requirements specified in the project manual's Scope of Work section. Contractors must provide proper supervision of all work. Bids must use the Architect's proposal forms or copies thereof. A certified check or bid bond payable to Albertville City School System, in an amount of at least 5% of the bid and no more than $10,000, must accompany the sealed proposal. Performance and statutory labor and material payment bonds will be required at contract signing. Contractors exceeding the applicable Alabama licensing threshold must provide evidence of current licensure and display the license number on the outside of the sealed envelope. Project documents are available through the Architect's project bid list, and only the Architect-endorsed documents are authorized.
