Description
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers requires a contractor to furnish and deliver 49 new signs for the Humphrey Engineer Center. The requirement includes 10 street signs, 16 building identification signs, 8 building directional/wayfinding signs, and 15 road/traffic signs. The Government will provide sign-specific dimensions, colors, lettering, wording, graphics, materials, reflectivity requirements, and quantities before fabrication; the contractor must manufacture the signs accordingly. The contractor must provide all labor, supervision, tools, equipment, and incidental materials necessary for the requirement, submit material and equipment submittals for approval before purchase, provide weekly progress updates, perform testing and a final serviceability inspection, and provide a minimum one-year warranty for parts and service. The PWS states that the contractor is responsible for purchase and delivery of signage materials only and will not perform sign removal, installation, excavation, site preparation, utility locating, or other field work. Offers require a signed and dated technical work plan of no more than 10 typed pages, two references for similar work performed within the last two years, and a price proposal with total pricing and labor-category pricing.
