Description
Hennepin County is soliciting bids for a single-award Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity contract for bridge flood sealing. Task orders will generally include bridge deck cleaning and mapping, MMA flood seal, 100% silane sealing with crack sealing, traffic control, street sweeping, portable changeable message boards, and mobilization. The initial task order is anticipated to begin May 10, 2027 and includes seven bridge locations on CSAH 19, 22, 37, 66, 101, and 7th Street in Dayton, Golden Valley, Minneapolis, Orono, and Wayzata. The contract value will be between $200,000 and $1,500,000, with an initial two-year term and a possible one-year extension. Bidders must submit electronically through ProcureWare, including the title sheet, electronic proposal form, non-collusion declaration, responsible-contractor verification and certification of compliance, first-tier subcontractor list, and a 5% bid bond. The contract requires payment and performance bonds equal to the contract amount upon award, specified insurance coverage, prevailing-wage compliance, and Hennepin County participation goals of 19% SMBE and 18% SWBE. The solicitation also includes a 32% minority and 20% women construction-employment goal and a good-faith effort goal of at least 85 WEP apprentice labor hours.
