Description
Centinela Valley Union High School District is seeking a contractor to provide comprehensive solid-waste, recycling, and organics services for its schools, administrative offices, annex, and operations center. The scope includes furnishing, delivering, placing, maintaining, cleaning, labeling, and replacing containers; regularly scheduled and as-needed collection; roll-off services; recycling of commingled materials; and compliance support for applicable California recycling and organics requirements, including AB 341, AB 1826, AB 827, and SB 1383. The contractor must provide waste-stream reviews, contamination monitoring, diversion recommendations, right-sizing and cost-saving strategies, quarterly and annual reporting, environmental-impact data, staff education and outreach, customer-service coordination, and a written 30-60-90-day transition and mobilization plan. The contract term is two years beginning December 11, 2026, with up to three additional one-year renewals. Proposals will be evaluated on customer service and references, experience and qualifications, sustainability, service reliability, cost, and regulatory compliance.
