Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking labor, tools, materials, equipment, coordination, and disposal services to replace four roll-up parking garage doors at the North Red parking structure of the John D. Dingell VA Medical Center. The work includes furnishing ASI Model 109 Dura-Roll doors with specified insulated and vision slats, controls, loop detectors, steel mounting frames, light curtains, shrouds, covers, and keyed disable switches. The contractor must coordinate with VA Police and Engineering staff, integrate the door controls with the existing traffic and safety access-control lift-barrier system, perform required electrical work, and adjust, test, and program the doors. Work must be performed one door at a time without disrupting medical-center operations, with inspections coordinated through the Contracting Officer's Representative and advance notice for utility shutdowns. Completion is required within 60 days of the Notice to Proceed.
