Description
The University of Texas at Arlington is soliciting bids for two 2U rackmount dual-processor server systems for physics applications. Each system must support AMD EPYC 9004/9005 processors, four GPUs, 24 DDR5 memory slots, dual 10GbE networking, redundant power supplies, NVMe U.2 storage, rack rails, and related management and expansion capabilities. The specified configuration includes AMD EPYC Bergamo 9754 processors, DDR5 ECC registered memory, enterprise NVMe SSDs, an SAS3 HBA, cabling, Ubuntu 22.04 LTS, power cables, and a three-year advanced-replacement warranty with support. GPU integration is expressly declined, and installation will be performed by the university. Bidders must provide total-cost pricing, including any freight charges, identify any deviations from the specifications, and provide manufacturer information and complete product descriptions for equivalent offerings. Award will be based on best value, including price, product quality, ability to meet university needs, vendor reputation and past relationship, applicable preferences, insurance compliance, and other relevant factors.
