Description
The City of Indianola is soliciting proposals from licensed and insured contractors to replace existing lighting throughout the Indianola Wellness Campus, including the competition pool, recreational pool, main lobby, gym, track, and racquetball court. The work includes providing equipment and personal protective equipment, removing existing fixtures, bulbs, abandoned or unused wiring, disposing of removed materials in compliance with applicable law, and installing new LED fixtures with cable hangers meeting manufacturer requirements. The Wellness Campus will remain open during the work unless otherwise directed, so the contractor must coordinate work and area closures to minimize disruption and prevent debris or contaminants from entering pool water. Proposers must state the earliest start date and calendar days to substantial completion for each area, provide a minimum one-year workmanship warranty, hold required Iowa electrical licenses, and submit qualifications, an itemized fee proposal, timeline, three comparable references from the past five years, insurance evidence, bonding-capacity confirmation, and an authorized signature. Subcontracting requires the City's prior written consent.
