Description
Tarrant County is procuring concealed weapons detectors, including installation and software subscriptions, along with high-speed automated checkpoint X-ray systems. The Sheriff's Office requires one dual-lane concealed weapons detector, one single-lane concealed weapons detector, and two high-speed automated checkpoint X-ray systems. These systems are intended to replace older technology at specified Tarrant County locations. The scope of work includes the provision, installation, training, annual software subscriptions, and annual maintenance for all equipment. The contract will be for an initial twelve (12) month period, with the option for two (2) additional twelve (12) month renewals. Prices must remain firm for the entire contract duration. The chosen vendor will be responsible for delivering and installing the equipment to Tarrant County facilities, ensuring full operational status upon conclusion of installation, and removing all associated debris. Training will be provided on-site, and annual maintenance includes 24/7 emergency repair services with specified response times, all parts, labor, travel, and preventative maintenance inspections. Annual software subscriptions and technical support are also required, with 24/7 phone availability for emergency service.
