Description
Tarrant County is soliciting proposals from qualified licensed psychologists to provide comprehensive psychological evaluations for juveniles under the jurisdiction of the juvenile court. These services are crucial for diagnosis, identifying treatment needs, providing treatment recommendations, and assessing intellectual functioning, which aids the court in disposition decisions and case planning. The scope of work includes standard evaluations, fitness to proceed evaluations, lack of responsibility for conduct evaluations, psychosexual evaluations, and discretionary transfer evaluations. Bilingual evaluations will also be considered, with a premium paid for these services. Providers must adhere to all applicable federal, state, and local laws, maintain professional licensure in Texas, and be willing to conduct evaluations at secure detention facilities. Reports are due within five business days of the evaluation, unless otherwise specified. The contract will be for a twelve (12) month period, with the option for two (2) additional twelve (12) month renewals. Prices must remain firm for the entire contract duration. Vendors will be reimbursed based on a fee schedule for different types of evaluations, with a specified hourly rate for other services and a no-show fee.
