Description
The Village of Cary is soliciting sealed bids for partial rehabilitation of Foxford Hills Lift Station No. 1. The work includes replacement of two rail-and-mount assemblies, four floats, one level transducer, one 4-inch two-way plug valve, one 4-inch three-way plug valve, and the existing control enclosure. The contractor must provide all labor, materials, equipment, permits, traffic control, restoration, testing, and related work necessary for a complete and functional installation meeting IEPA requirements and Village standards. The scope also includes bypass pumping and continuous monitoring while the station is offline or on bypass; SCADA coordination for transducer scaling and telemetry adjustments; startup, commissioning, operational and maintenance training, and restoration. The contractor must complete field construction within 30 calendar days after commencement, with substantial completion required by March 1, 2027, final completion by March 31, 2027, and all work completed before April 1, 2027. A bid bond of at least 5% is required with the bid; payment and performance bonds of at least 100% of the bid amount are required within 10 days after award for work totaling $50,000 or more.
