Description

Washington County is soliciting proposals from qualified contractors for the physical construction, excluding design services, of a permanent detention basin and associated earthen drainage infrastructure at Legacy Park. The work includes excavation, grading, basin construction and stabilization, drainage channels, spillways, culverts, riprap, concrete, erosion control, and related earthwork to manage runoff and protect county roads and park facilities. The estimated project timeline is 30 to 45 days. Proposals must include a cover letter and executive summary, organizational information, similar heavy civil or earthwork project experience with photos and references, proposed subcontractors if applicable, a construction completion timeline, and pricing. Evaluation is based on construction experience and performance with earthwork and drainage projects (60 points) and proposed cost (40 points). Attendance at the mandatory pre-bid meeting is required for proposal eligibility, and proof of required insurance and endorsements is due before contract execution.
