Description
The State of Utah Division of Forestry, Fire and State Lands is soliciting a prequalified contractor to perform wildland fire hazard reduction by cutting and piling materials along the Highway 14 corridor in the Coal Creek Drainage. The project area covers approximately 144 acres. The contractor must furnish all labor, equipment, supervision, transportation, operating supplies, and incidentals, and must maintain a minimum eight-person crew on site at all times. Participation is limited to contractors on the current State of Utah Rangeland Prequalification List for the treatment and acreage described in the scope of work. The solicitation is expected to result in a single contract awarded to the lowest-cost responsive and responsible vendor. Work must be completed within 120 calendar days of the official Notice to Proceed and no later than March 15, 2027; the stated extended performance window is October 1, 2026, through March 15, 2027. Pricing must remain firm through project completion. Responses require completion of the online bid table and numerous online vendor certifications and acknowledgments, including the prequalification, crew-size, pricing, licensing, debarment, tax-lien, conflict-of-interest, and regulatory certifications.
