Description
The City seeks two Louisiana-licensed asbestos abatement contractors for a rotating work-order program covering residential and commercial structures within city limits. Work includes removing asbestos-containing materials before demolition, handling and disposing of regulated and non-regulated asbestos materials at appropriate facilities, wetting and cleaning work sites, and providing disposal tickets and regulatory documentation. Demolition may be included for specified work orders; other demolition may be performed by others. Contractors must provide qualified personnel and equipment and meet the stated licensing, insurance, and experience requirements. The initial contract period is calendar year 2027, with options to renew annually for 2028 and 2029. Proposals must include the completed Contractor Qualifications and Contractor Fee Schedule forms and the required response page. Attendance at the pre-bid conference is mandatory. Proposals may be submitted by email, mail, physical delivery, fax, or the named electronic procurement platform.
