Description
The City of Alexandria and Alexandria Utility Systems seek proposals for street-level spherical imagery, panoramic video, and a LiDAR-based mobile asset inventory platform covering approximately 500 centerline miles of roadway. The scope includes mobile data capture, cloud-hosted access and licensing, automated or semi-automated detection of transportation and utility assets, and exports for GIS and asset-management systems. Vendors may propose one or more components, and the City may award separate contracts or one integrated contract. The contractor must also provide integration with ESRI and Autodesk products, configuration and maintenance, software updates, customer support, and training. The solicitation specifies detailed imagery and LiDAR accuracy and data-format requirements, privacy blurring, quality assurance and acceptance procedures, cybersecurity and data ownership provisions, and a technical compliance matrix. The initial contract term is three years from Notice to Proceed, with up to two one-year renewal options.
