Description
The City seeks pricing for petroleum products across three categories: engine and hydraulic oils; greases and transmission fluids; and miscellaneous products, including antifreeze, diesel exhaust fluid, and diesel injector cleaner. Products must meet the stated specifications or approved equivalents, and bidders must provide product-property data for each product offered. Estimated quantities are provided, but purchases are not guaranteed. Awards may be made to one or multiple vendors, by category or overall, based on best value. The scope also includes oil analysis for the transit department, with results emailed within seven days, and related delivery and handling requirements. Depending on the products and delivery locations, the successful vendor may need to provide storage tanks, totes, pumps, reels, and metered nozzles; transfer bulk products into city storage; and remove and dispose of used drums. The contract term is 12 months from award. AFEAT participation is encouraged, and bidders must submit documentation of good-faith efforts to secure qualifying subcontractors and proof of engagement for any selected subcontractors.
