Description
The City is soliciting bids for the Masonic Drive sidewalk project and replacement of the Hynson Bayou pedestrian bridge. The work includes a 50-foot-long by 8-foot-wide timber bridge. The contract duration is 30 working days, with an assembly period as needed to manufacture the timber bridge components. Bidders must hold a Louisiana license for Highway, Street and Bridge Construction. A bid security equal to 5% of the base bid is required. The apparent low bidder must submit the Contractors Affidavit and Contractors Attestation within 10 days after bid opening. The estimated construction cost is $100,000.
