Description
The Air Force is conducting market research on an integrated software sustainment and system integration capability for the KC-46A tanker. The contemplated work includes coordinating software modifications from multiple suppliers; maintaining, patching, modernizing, testing, certifying, and deploying software releases; and supporting airworthiness, cybersecurity, software configuration, and database management. The RFI also seeks input on avionics integration, certification and cyber compliance, DevSecOps and data-rights strategies, technical training, and whether this effort should be combined with the separate KC-46 Systems Integration Lab operations and sustainment effort. This is an information request for acquisition planning, not a request for proposals or quotes. Respondents are asked to provide a capability package describing relevant experience, personnel, interest and potential teaming arrangements, business identification, and their recommendations on the support construct. The response is limited to 10 pages, excluding the cover page, and must follow the stated page and formatting requirements.
