Description
The City of Wilton Manors is soliciting bids for the complete replacement of Lift Station No. 4. The work includes site preparation and demolition; a new wet well, valve vault, pumps, force main, gravity sewer connections, valves, flow meter, electrical equipment, controls, bypass pumping, dewatering, maintenance of traffic, testing, restoration, and related civil, mechanical, and electrical construction. The project also includes horizontal directional drilling for a force main beneath the surrounding roadway and canal area, with associated drilling plans, frac-out controls, environmental protection, pressure testing, and as-built documentation. The successful contractor must be properly licensed, provide a bid guarantee equal to five percent of the bid price, and comply with federal WIFIA requirements, including Davis-Bacon prevailing wages, Disadvantaged Business Enterprise good-faith efforts, American Iron and Steel, Build America, Buy America, and applicable civil-rights and labor provisions. Substantial completion is required within 180 calendar days after the Notice to Proceed, with final completion within 240 calendar days. The bid package requires four bid copies and a digital copy, along with the completed bid forms, affidavits, certifications, qualifications information, proof of insurance, bid bond, and required supporting documentation.
