Description
The City of Woonsocket is soliciting a contractor for lead hazard reduction at the five-unit property at 458–462 Coe Street. The scope includes interior and exterior containment, lead-safe cleaning, stabilization and recoating of painted surfaces, replacement of numerous windows and doors, vinyl siding and porch work, fire-escape treatment, soil remediation, garage and common-area work, waste disposal, and related building repairs identified in the work write-up. The contractor must hold the required Rhode Island lead hazard reduction and remediation licenses, use appropriately licensed and trained lead workers and supervisors, comply with applicable federal, state, and local regulations, and obtain lead-safe clearance after completion. The project must commence within 10 calendar days after formal contract execution, with substantial completion specified as seven days after commencement per unit. A mandatory site walk-through is required, and bidders must submit the required bid forms together with copies of their general contractor, state lead remediation, and staff lead-worker or supervisor licenses.
